An ancient temple which has 4 – decades of timed history where the god unearthed in the form of shivlinga and named as Sri Nagaraja Sametha Bhavani Sankar swamy.
According to the locals, the village of Agraharam, also known as Rangapuram Agraharam, dates back to ancient times, about 500 years ago. To commemorate this, the Swayambhu Shivalingam in the temple of Sri Nagaraja Samata Bhavanisankara Swami, who appeared and was seen by the devotees himself during the reign of the then Manyashree Anagani Bhagwanta rao almost 50 years ago i.e. in the year 1975, can still be seen there as the Vayu Pratishtalingam.
The ancient Shivalingam and Ekaviralayam were built by the then villagers in K.S. Sri Nandanavanam Seshagiri Rao (ordained in 2000) was the patron saint of the temple, i.e. Bhaskara Rao donated the land and rendered special service. Their names are engraved on the temple plaque in their memory. The temple has been renovated in recent times. The Swayambhu Shivalinga is now being worshiped by the human dignified Shivalinga.
